REGRET
by: Gio Buenaventura
In the silent halls of time's embrace,
Whispers linger, shadows trace,
Regret, a specter, weaves its tale,
Lost moments, set to sail.
Paths untaken, words unsaid,
A symphony of chances fled,
Yet within this wistful hue,
Lessons learned, if we pursue.
Regret, a mirror to our past,
Guiding steps, if we're steadfast,
For in its reflection, clear and true,
Tomorrow's choices bloom anew.
